First Tooth & Updates

Today when I picked Grayson up from Mrs.Khan's, she told me that his bottom right tooth has come through. It's barely there but you can see and feel it. I hope he doesn't start having pain from teething! So far it's been LOTS of drool but not really any crying. I'll post pics when it grows out a little further.

So what's new with our little monkey??? Well......

- He has started on veggies twice a day now. He was just having them for lunch but now I've added 1/2 a serving for dinner along with more cereal and fruit. The reason I started this was to see if his sleeping habits would change by adding additional solids. He had been waking between 3 and 4 every night wanting a bottle. Since I've added the solids, he has slept through the night. YEAH!!!

- He has started sleeping in his crib instead of with mommy and daddy. I must admit that I miss him sleeping next to me and I couldn't even sleep the first night we put him in the crib. I would love to buy a video monitor to make it easier on me. I will be able to see him instead having to get up and go check everytime he makes a noise.

- He'll take the paci now when I offer it to him. He doesn't keep it for long but at least he is trying. He has been sucking his thumb and I'd rather him not do that. I don't want it to become a habit that is very hard to break!

- He has started noticing the girls(Chloe and Miley) more. He watches them walk by or he reaches out for them when they get close enough. It's really cute. They better get prepared because I'm sure he will become their worst nightmare when he starts crawling!! LOL

- He is wearing size 2 diapers and size 6 month and 6-9 month clothing. Some of the 6-9 month stuff is still too big. He's not a very chunky baby...just really long.

Halloween Preview

I know it's still early but we may not be dressing up on actual Halloween day! I think my Lil' Monkey is still too little for Trick-or-Treating and all! Last Saturday night Trent and I attended a Halloween Party so we took the opportunity to dress up and take a family picture before we left! I think my Lil' Monkey looks so cute in his costume!!! It's been a fun month!! Now, we are ready for Christmas decorations and cute holiday pics!! : )

My Precious Lil' Pouter!!!

Something so cute...yet at the same time, so heartbreaking!!! This is my honey with his signature pout. He has been doing this for some time now. The other day we were eating at Texas Roadhouse and they did a birthday announcement and song for someone. His eyes got so big as he was watching them and listening. Then as soon as they were done he puckered up and gave one of the cutest little pouts ever seen! I've posted an example below:

I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of Trent and I when we were babies. Everyone has been saying that Grayson looks just like his mommy!!! When I saw this picture of me, I immediately saw Grayson. The smile...the hair...doesn't it look like him?

State Fair of TX* & Little Big Town ♥

Today was a fun day but it was the coldest day thus far!! Brrrrrr!!! We bundled up and headed to the State Fair for some good eating and the Little Big Town show!! We got to go backstage before the show and chat with cousin Phillip and take some pics with the group. I wish I would have had my video camera ready when Phillip was tickling Grayson's feet and he was just a laughing and loving it!! It was too cute!! Cousin Phillip

GREAT DAY!!!!! Wish Daddy would have been there but he was Golfing!

6 months old ~ Wow!!!

Little man had his 6 month check-up today.

Weight: 17 lbs, 3.5 oz ~ 50th percentile

Height: 27.5 inches ~ 75 to 90th percentile

Trent thought he would weigh 19 or 20 pounds! Not me...I guessed correctly when I said I thought he'd weigh between 17 and 18 pounds. He had to get 3 shots and take one orally. Poor baby! I hate to see him scream and cry but it only lasted a few seconds and then he was fine! He has been so happy tonight and as I type this he is in his Jeep walker watching a baseball game on TV. : )

Tomorrow we are planning to go to the State Fair to see Little Big Town. I hope it's not too cold for my baby to be out there! We had a sudden cold front blow through today! BRRRRR!!!! It's in the upper 40's tonight!

Our Little Monkey

IT'S OCTOBER!!! And that means Halloween time!! I couldn't wait to take pics of our little Monkey in his costume! He looks so precious and he finally wore it without crying. At the Arboretum, we tried to get some pics with his costume but by the time we decided to change him into it..it had gotten so hot and he was hungry so he threw a fit and we didn't get any good shots. I decided to take my own photoshoot of him and I think it turned out pretty good!! :)
