"Bye-Bye" Stomach Bug

Hit the road stomach bug and don't ya come back no more..no more..no more..no more!!! Needless to say we've bit hit by "The Bug" pretty hard this past week. Grayson first started throwing up last Sunday morning and it's been a rough week. Trent stayed home with him on Monday and took him to the doctor. She confirmed that it was a stomach virus and was thinking it was almost over since he hadn't thrown up much that morning. But as soon as he got home he was at it again. Throwing up everything we could get down him. YUCK! I have been doing so much laundry!!! Aunt Terri stayed with him on Tuesday and she and I both stayed with him on Wednesday. I ended up staying home that day because I got up at 3am throwing up. That was my one and only time to throw up though thank goodness!! Trent came home at noon after getting sick at work! Terri and I took G back to the doctor to see if this could possibly be something else since he had not gotten any better and he was having very few wet diapers so I was worried he was getting dehydrated. She confirmed that he did not look dehydrated to her and as long as he was having "some" wet diapers then that was good! So here we are, it's Friday night and he has only thrown up once today earlier this morning. I hope we are in the clear!



On a better note...he waved BYE-BYE to me this morning for the first time!! My heart melted..it was just too sweet!!! We've been trying to get him to do it again tonight but he is being stubborn! : ) I wanted to get it on video!

I can't believe he is almost 11 months old!!!

First Valentine's Day

We spent Grayson's 1st Valentine's Day relaxing at home as a family. Trent went to pick us up some yummy Pei Wei for dinner & Grayson tried the new Little Blends yogurt with carrots and strawberries!! It was wonderful! It has been a great 3 day weekend with the men in my life. ♥

No work today and it's Friday!! Woo-Hooooooo!!! So much fun!!! The snow is still on the ground and it's so amazing & beautiful! ♥ ♥ ♥

SNOW in TEXAS is always FUN!!!

Feb. 11, 2010 will go down in in the record books as the snowiest day in Dallas-Fort Worth history. DFW Airport reported 12.5 inches!!!

So today it snowed ALL day long!!! It was so pretty watching it from the window of the 15th story at work!! They let us leave at 4pm and I headed home to be sure and get a few pics with my love! Isn't he just the cutest???

Valentine's month is here...it's February!!! ♥ ♥ ♥



My little Valentine has been sick for a couple of days, running fever, vomiting, and just wanting to sleep all day! Daddy took him to the doctor but she couldn't find anything wrong. BTW he weighs 19 lbs now. She said his ears look fine, he is not conjested, they did a blood test which came back normal...so is he just teething or is it a virus??? Not sure. I hate when my little man doesn't feel well. Luckily he hasn't had many sick days but I remember when he was 7 months old he came down with a little stomach bug! : (
